Leslie Tomkins

Leslie Tomkins, viola, is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Moab Music Festival in Moab, Utah. She appears frequently as a guest artist with chamber ensembles such as New York Festival of Song,Trio Solisti, Music from Copland House, New York Philomusica, and the Turtle Island Quartet. She plays regularly with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Sacred Music in a Sacred Space,Westchester Philharmonic, Brooklyn Philharmonic among others. Summer/Fall ’09 included appearances at the OK Mozart, Caramoor, ArtsAhisma and Moab Music Festivals. She holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory and the Mannes College of Music where she studied with Karen Tuttle.
